Building what matters.

Foundry202 exists to build AI-powered products that solve messy, real-world problems. We started with event planning. We're not stopping there.

Our Story

Why we started Foundry202

Foundry202 started with a simple question: why is planning still so painful? Whether it's a wedding, a corporate offsite, or a cross-country trip, the tools people rely on have not kept up.

Spreadsheets, scattered emails, incomparable quotes. We are building the products that fix this.

The Name

Foundry + 202

A foundry is where raw material becomes something reliable, durable, and precise. That mirrors how we build products.

The 202 references our Washington, D.C. roots and keeps us grounded: software may scale globally, but it is always built by real people.

Our Values

Clarity over cleverness

We edit ruthlessly. Every screen, every button, every label earns its place. If a feature needs a tutorial, it needs a redesign.

Respect for speed

Fast software is a baseline requirement. Slowness breaks trust and momentum. We measure every interaction and treat latency as a bug, not a tradeoff.

Human focus

We design with empathy so planners and teams can move with confidence. Technology should reduce cognitive load, not add to it.

Building VenueV

Our flagship product, VenueV, is currently in development for modern planner operations. We are applying our core principles to help wedding, event, and travel planners replace fragmented workflows with one structured planning system.

Who's Building This

Liam Clark Murphy

Liam Clark Murphy, Founder

D.C.-born and still here. I started Foundry202 after eight years of consulting - building AI solutions and leading change for organizations like the Department of Veterans Affairs and financial services firms - where I kept seeing the same problem: smart teams buried in coordination work that better software could eliminate. VenueV is the first product out of the studio, with more on the way.
